How to Verify Blog in Webmaster Tool.
Note: This is for Wordpress Blog only.
Process need to follow for Verify Blog in Webmaster Tool:
Go to Webmaster link, add your site there.
Click on the blog after adding.
You will find notification for the Verify Site in your site.
Try to use the recommended method, which is verification by Domain provider. Follow the step & you are done with the verification part of it.
Second way is to do by using Meta tags, Webmaster will show you one code
which you need to copy & paste in your site.
How to add Code to the Meta:
- Go to SEO Dashboard in your Wordpress
- Go to the google webmaster tool blank field
- Paste the Meta tag from the webmaster in the blank field given & click on the save option.
- Come to webmaster page & refresh it.
This proves that you are the correct owner of the site, which is much needed
for any new blog. This will help google to index your blog quickly.
